Mexican Shrimp Bites

A spicy bold bite your taste buds will love! Fresh guacamole topped with a pan -seared shrimp will be the highlight of your holiday season. This appetizer is sure to impress.

    18 small to medium sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    2 tsp olive oil
    3/4 c guacamole (use your favorite!)
    18 Shearer's Tortilla Rounds


    1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over high heat. Sprinkle the chili powder over the shrimp.
    2. Place the shrimp in the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 seconds to a minute or until shrimp are pink and opaque,
    3. Place 18 tortilla chips on a platter. Spoon approximately 2 teaspoons of guacamole onto each one and place a shrimp on top of each chip.
    4. Serve immediately.
