Mexican Cheesy Pleasy Dip

Change things up with this cheesy dip! You can probably guess where this Cheesy-Pleasy dip gets its name. Mix up a big batch to be sure to please everyone at your next gathering. This dip is quick to mix up, has a spicy Mexican kick to it and uses ingredients like cottage cheese and Greek yogurt.

    1 carton (24 oz.) low-fat, small curd cottage cheese
    1/2 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
    1 cup shredded Mexican four cheese blend (or fat-free shredded cheddar cheese)
    1 cup green onions, thinly sliced
    1 small jalapeno, seeds removed and finely chopped (optional)
    3 cloves fresh garlic
    1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    3/4 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    2 Tbsp French onion dip mix
    Shearer’s Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips


    1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
    2. Mix gently with a hand mixer until dip is smooth.
    3. For best results, refrigerate at least one hour before serving, preferably overnight.
    4. Serve chilled dip with Shearer’s Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips.
