IT Support Technician

Position Summary:

This position is directly responsible for all installation, configuration, and support of the site's local area network (LAN), office and shop floor IT assets.  This includes, but is not limited to User Account Management, Hardware/Software Asset Management, and Software Deployment while ensuring IT assets are well maintained.  This position will also coordinate annual hardware roll-outs and software deployment, along with break/fix support for all workstation hardware/software.  This position requires an on-call rotating assignment for production critical after-hours issues.

Skills Required:

  • 1+ Years of hands on experience in a Windows Workstation/Server environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, commitment to excellence, continuously looks for improvements, finds root cause of problems, owns/acts on problems
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocol and related hardware
  • Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN)
  • XenApp Administration
  • IBM Domino Server Administration a plus
  • Thermal printer knowledge a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical/Problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines
  • Strong documentation skills
