BLT Salad Toss
A BLT salad? Sounds like a no-brainer, but this recipe definitely is anything but ordinary. It has the expected bacon, lettuce and tomatoes – of course – but then kicks it up with Shearer’s Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips, salsa and cheddar cheese. All combined into a hearty salad, this dish is easy to prepare and will certainly be fast to disappear.

1/2 cup chunky salsa 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing 6 cups romaine lettuce, torn in bite-size pieces 2 tomatoes, cut into thin wedges 2/3 cup sliced pitted ripe olives 2 cups Shearer's Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Mix salsa and dressing.
- Toss lettuce, tomatoes, olives, Shearer's Tortilla Chips and salsa/dressing mixture until evenly coated.
- Top with cheese and bacon.
- Serve immediately.
