Guaca-Olé!

This spiced-up low fat guacamole dip has become so popular to nosh when watching the big games and the not-so-big games that some call it The Sideline Special.

Whatever the name, you'll hear plenty of calls of "MORE!" with this fan favorite. Guaca-Ole! is no ordinary guac and meets the approval of those who make avocados more than an avocation. It's especially rich and savory and the red onion and chili powder give it some bite - making it the perfect sideline companion to Shearer's® Kettle Cooked Original Extra Crunchy Potato Chips. Ingredients

1/2 cup canned peas, rinsed and drained
1/2 yellow pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 medium avocado, peeled, pitted, and slightly mashed
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 Shearer's Original Kettle Cooked Chips - 9 oz. bag

Directions

Mix peas, yellow pepper, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender until very smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl and stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill for at least one hour. Serve with Shearer's Original Kettle Cooked Potato Chips.
